Senior Full Stack Engineer (Scala / Type Script)

- We're looking for an experienced
- Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in
- Scala and strong
Type Script skills to join our engineering team.
- This is a backend-first role, with approximately
- 70% of your time focused on Scala services and
30% on Type Script across our web applications. You\'ll work on high-impact products, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and help shape the technical direction of our platform.
- What You\'ll Do
- Design, build and maintain scalable backend services in Scala.
- Develop and enhance modern frontend applications using Type Script.
- Build clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Review code, mentor other engineers and help maintain engineering best practices.
- Improve system performance, reliability and observability.
- Strong commercial experience developing backend systems with
Scala .
- Solid experience building frontend applications with
Type Script .
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing and clean architecture.
- Experience working in Agile engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Nice to Have
- Experience with React or another modern Type Script framework.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Knowledge of event-driven or distributed systems
