Senior Data Engineer – (London, Hybrid 3 days onsite) | £85k–£110k + bonus
We’re partnered with a Series B RegTech scale‑up building the data platform that powers regulatory reporting for major financial institutions. You’ll join a small, high‑impact data team as we modernise our estate from Python/MySQL into a Databricks + Snowflake ecosystem built for scale, auditability and reliability.
The Role
- Build & optimise pipelines in Databricks, PySpark, Python, Kafka
- Modernise legacy systems into a scalable, auditable cloud data platform
- Work closely with Product, DevOps & Regulatory teams
You Bring
- Strong Python, PySpark, SQL
- Experience building auditable, reproducible pipelines
- Solid data modelling + warehouse fundamentals
- Clean code, CI/CD, testing, observability
- Cloud data platform experience (Snowflake/AWS ideal)
