Quantitative Developer - Up to £140k

Support Consultant at Oliver Bernard | Specialising in Java, Scala and Kotlin

A key client of OB, who are a pioneering venture providing the financial and investment markets with technology consulting services, is looking to hire Quantitative Developers to their best-in-class engineering team.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join a venture backed by two industry leaders in their respective fields, and it will come with a great opportunity to work on greenfield projects with the latest technologies in a tech-focused environment.

Skills and Experience:

1. C# is what you\’ll be using; open to candidates from Python, Java, or C++ backgrounds
2. SQL
3. OOP & Functional Design
4. Distributed System Design
5. Collaboration with other Quants
6. Prior experience in a Front-Office role (desirable)

Educational Requirements:

1. Minimum 2.1 from a Russell Group university or top-ranked University Worldwide
2. Minimum of straight A\’s at A-Level or equivalent if you\’ve completed your education overseas.

This role is on-site with 5-days a week being required in Newcastle-based offices, and they are open on salary between £70k-£140k. You must be UK-based, and sadly sponsorship isn\’t available.
