Our client is one of the country’s leading ecommerce firms, based in central London with a global reach.

They’re looking to hire a Production / Application Support Team Lead who’ll be responsible for the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the platform stack.

This is a leadership role but very technical and hands‑on, combining deep technical expertise with operational, team and project ownership.

You’ll have the chance to lead a team of support and platform engineers, drive excellence, and act as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering and external partners.

You’ll have the opportunity to define strategy, improve processes, and ensure platforms can scale to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Production, Application Support, Platform, Dev Ops or similar role.
  • Knowledge of scripting or an object‑oriented programming language.
  • SQL and database experience
  • Proficiency in configuration management, automation and orchestration tools.
  • Good knowledge of tools such as AWS, Terraform and Docker
  • Knowledge of APIs and microservices is desirable.
  • Experience leading others and being the “go to”, senior, in a team
