Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a strong Principal Platform Engineer to join a growing scale-up client of ours who operate in the IoT / SaaS space. Scaling globally, our client are on the lookout for a seasoned Platform Engineer who can come in and have ownership over their platform estate; help reshape their DevOps, SRE and Platform processes; and have their own stamp on things from a broader technological perspective across the team.
The existing Platform team consists of 7-8 engineers who work closely with engineering day to day, and are responsible for scaling their practices across Cloud, Containers, IaC, Monitoring and Security practices.
To be considered, the following experience is required:
- Extensive Cloud experience with AWS and AWS Services
- Strong Container / Orchestration experience with Kubernetes
- Seasoned IaC professional, working hands-on with Terraform throughout your career
- Comfortable driving Monitoring, Observability, and Security processes
- Strategic mindset, comfortable driving roadmaps and best practices, whilst working closely with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge on Disaster Recovery (and comfortable owning the reliability of systems)
- History of line management, career building, and shaping teams long term
This is a remote opening and can offer £90-120K (plus benefits) for the right profile.
