Our client is one of the world’s leading online media companies, growing in the UK. They’re at the forefront of on-demand programming, real-time streaming and mobile app experiences. To grow their Security and Platform Engineering team, they’re looking to hire an experienced Platform / Cloud Security and DevSecOps Engineer. This is a brand new, greenfield role and you’ll help drive security decisions, define best practices and be key to the digital strategy.

You’ll be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work closely with developers to define security principles and coding standards and develop automated tools and analytics and monitoring dashboards. You’ll champion security throughout the engineering teams and be the “go to” for AWS Cloud Security and DevSecOps engineering - a unique opportunity!

Requirements:

  • Excellent experience in a similar DevSecOps or Cloud Security Engineering position
  • Great knowledge of AWS security and engineering
  • Good understanding of Cloudflare
  • Very good experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and Ansible
  • Understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD best practices and building secure, high-scalable software solutions
