Underneath the product suite sits a large data platform, and on top of it a fast-growing set of AI and agentic features. They need a Staff Engineer to set the technical direction across all three.The roleOwn architecture for the data domain, from transactional databases (OLTP) through to analytics and reporting (OLAP) and the foundations their AI products run onSet direction across multiple teams you don’t manage, working closely with Product Directors and Technical LeadsArchitect the infrastructure behind LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and real-time model inferenceMentor senior engineers and technical leads, and help lead a genuine shift to AI-first ways of workingInfluence as much as you design: expect to spend as much time getting stakeholders bought in as you do on the architecture itselfWhy it’s worth a lookReal scope and real ownership.
