Oliver Bernard are currently working with a Publishing client who are looking for a strong Security Engineer to join their team as part of a transformational revamp on their platform. You’ll be expected to work in cross-functional teams, comprised of Security Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Full-Stack developers, on a project to help scale their Security processes and drive a Security First way of thinking.

To be considered for this position you must have experience with the following:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Security Engineering and Application Security
  • Prior work driving the NIST score of an organisation
  • Knowledge of SOC, ISO and other Cyber / Security frameworks
  • Prior experience as a Software Developer, and comfortable coding day to day (Scala, Java or JavaScript / TypeScript)
  • Strong experience in CloudSec environments (ideally AWS)

This position can offer £500-600 p/day, inside IR35, for an initial 6 month contract, and operates a hybrid working model (with 2 office days per week).
