Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established FinTech client of ours, based out of London, who are looking to take on an AI QA Automation Engineer to take ownership over a migration project across their testing suites (to Cypress).

The incoming contractor will need to have experience from a technical leadership perspective, and be able to drive Automation first practices across their QA function as they update their tech stack, and adopt a Cypress framework.

To be suitable for this position, the following expertise is required:

  • Prior experience migrating to Cypress
  • Strong ability utilising AI tooling (and improving the uptake of these across testing)
  • Additional experience across CI/CD and Performance Testing is a big bonus
  • Prior experience in Finance and / or Regulated environments is also highly beneficial

This is a hybrid (2 days p/week) contract opening, outside IR35, for an initial 6 month period, and can offer £400-475 p/day for the suitable candidate.
