Our client is a leading (and growing!) FinTech, building innovative software for tax, financial risk and regulatory reporting. They are investing heavily in tech and growing their Platform team, looking to hire a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the team.

Competitive salary, with flexible working, 1 day a week in their west London office.

You’ll need great experience of Platform engineering and Azure cloud (AWS very useful too!). They want someone still technical and with a great understanding of Terraform, DevOps practices and modern engineering techniques. You’ll lead the engineers in your team, have real ownership of the team’s work and be key in driving change, tech evolution and automation. They want someone to define “what good looks like”.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience leading/managing platform and software engineering teams
  • Proven knowledge of platform engineering and DevOps
  • Excellent, hands-on, engineering skills
  • Experience leading others, managing projects and “owning” a function
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, Cloud, Terraform and associated tools and tech
  • The ability to drive growth and move a team forwards
  • The ability to define “what good looks like”
  • Experience of Citrix and other, more legacy, tools would be ideal
