Our client is a leading, global, trading firm, building cutting edge, low latency trading technology. In London, offering great hybrid working flexibility, they’re looking to hire a Network Engineer with excellent automation (DevOps, Python, Terraform etc) experience and a desire to do more with this!
You’ll have the chance to work across high performant, low latency networks, with Arista, Fortinet, Cisco and Juniper tech, amongst others. As well as complex support of the on-prem and datacentre networks you’ll be heavily involved in project work, especially automation and the use of code. The team (and whole company) are dedicated to the automation and evolution of their infrastructure – Use of infrastructure as code (IaC), Terraform, DevOps methods, Cloud and Python.
Requirements:
- Great experience of IT network infrastructure support and engineering
- Experience of firewalls, Cisco routing and switching, load balancing etc
- Great experience of network automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) – Terraform etc
- Cloud (Azure or AWS) knowledge
- Any coding experience (Python ideally) would be great
- Good, broad, knowledge of network support and engineering tools and tech
- Experience of low latency and / or complex networks would be a huge plus
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VRFs and VXLAN etc
