I’m currently working with a well-established consumer tech business that’s growing its mobile engineering team and looking to add a Lead Android Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building high-quality mobile products at scale, leading technical direction, and mentoring engineers within a modern engineering environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the development and maintenance of native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Driving technical decisions, architecture, and engineering best practices
- Working across the full SDLC
- Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams
- Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team
- Helping shape the future mobile strategy and delivery roadmap
What they’re looking for:
- Strong commercial Android development experience
- Previous experience in a Lead or Senior-level role
- Experience building scalable mobile applications
- Strong understanding of modern Android architecture
