Oliver Bernard are partnered with a fast-growing AI consultancy helping enterprise organisations design, build and deploy AI solutions at scale. Following continued client growth, they're looking for a Lead AI Engineer to drive the delivery of cutting-edge AI applications across agentic systems, LLM platforms and enterprise transformation projects.
You'll take ownership of designing and building production-grade AI systems, working closely with engineering teams, data specialists and senior stakeholders to deliver impactful AI products. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant influence over architecture, technical direction and best practice.
What You'll Need
- Strong Python engineering experience building production software
- Commercial experience with LLMs, AI Agents and frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen
- Experience deploying AI applications on AWS or Azure (Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI, Cognitive Services etc.)
- Solid understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases and retrieval systems
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Langfuse, OpenTelemetry or similar)
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical strategy
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders
