Senior Full Stack Engineer | React / TypeScript / Python | £500–600/day (Outside IR35) | Soho (Hybrid)
We’re supporting a profitable, fast-scaling FinTech that is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join on a 6‑month contract, helping to shape and deliver modern, scalable systems within a collaborative, product‑driven engineering culture.
If you enjoy working on complex architectures, improving reliability, and building impactful features end‑to‑end with full ownership, this role offers significant influence and room to drive best‑practice engineering.
What you’ll be doing:
Designing and engineering large‑scale systems
Contributing to cloud‑native architectures across AWS and GCP
Improving developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Leveraging Generative AI tools to boost productivity and decision‑making
What they’re looking for:
5+ years’ experience building and scaling distributed systems
Strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript
Experience with React, PostgreSQL/MySQL
Strong understanding of cloud (AWS/GCP)
DevOps mindset with experience operating production systems
