Our client is a growing FinTech offering fully remote working across the UK, looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer. As they grow in the UK and Europe, you’ll have the chance to grow the Security team and be key on a range of projects. You’ll have the chance to drive automation and DevSecOps, define best practices and processes, and the continual evolution of toolsets. You’ll be involved in projects covering application and infrastructure security, end user security, monitoring and triage, automation, and act as an evangelist for Information and Cyber Security across the company.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar Cyber / Security Engineer role(s)
  • Strong ability to develop detection and incident response strategies, tools and infrastructure
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure (Networks, Server etc) technologies
  • Scripting skills with Python and good automation knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to be an evangelist and “go to” engineer for Security
