We're partnering with a leading private markets investment firm that is making significant investment into enterprise AI and looking to hire an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to help build and scale its next-generation AI platform. This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of software engineering, AI platform development, and business-facing delivery. You'll work directly with investment and finance teams to identify high-value use cases while also helping build the governed AI infrastructure that enables AI adoption across the firm.

Key Requirements

  • Strong software engineering background with experience building and deploying production applications
  • Excellent Python development skills (TypeScript experience also beneficial)
  • Commercial experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production
  • Experience with agentic workflows, AI copilots, RAG systems, and tool‑calling architectures
  • Hands‑on experience with frameworks such as MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or similar orchestration tools
  • Experience integrating LLMs via APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic
  • Knowledge of LLM observability, evaluation, tracing, and monitoring tools (Langfuse or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work directly with business users to translate requirements into software solutions
