Our client is a growing Financial Technology (FinTech) company. They build innovative software for investment managers, hedge funds and private equity markets. They’re growing their IT Ops and Support team and are looking for an experienced engineer to join them - someone with great knowledge of Linux and AWS who can lead projects and others.

In this varied role, you’ll be involved in client-facing support engineering of cutting-edge applications and SaaS platforms. With Linux and AWS, you’ll also have the chance to work with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes and Terraform and a wide variety of Windows / Microsoft technologies.

As a Lead, you’ll be able to act as an SME and a “go to” engineer in the team – “own” and drive projects and have a hand in developing those around you, especially those more junior.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar Infrastructure Support / IT Operations Engineering position
  • Linux and AWS experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience being a Lead / Senior within a team – taking the lead and driving work forwards
  • Experience of monitoring, DevOps and automation is ideal
