IT Operations Support Lead – FinTech – £70K

Our client is a growing Financial Technology (FinTech) company – They build innovative software for investment managers, hedge funds and private equity markets.

They’re growing their IT Ops and Support team and are looking for an experienced engineer to join them.

In this varied role you’ll be involved in client-facing support engineering of cutting-edge applications and SaaS platforms.

You\’ll have the chance to work with DevOps tools such as AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform and a wide variety of Windows / Microsoft technologies.

You’ll be able to act as an SME and a “go to” engineer in the team – “own” and drive projects and have a hand in developing those around you, especially those more junior.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar Infrastructure Engineering / Support and Ops position
  • Linux and AWS experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience being a Lead / Senior within a team – Taking the lead and driving work forwards
  • Experience of monitoring, DevOps and automation is ideal
