OB have partnered with a Certified B Corp IT Company, who are looking to make a key hire for them, by bringing in a Hands-On Head of Technology, who will be the most Senior Technical person in the team, leading a small team of engineers, whilst focusing on Architecture, Delivery and Data.

This role is open to anyone who has prior experience leading small teams, with the ability ship code independently, in AI/ML adoption expertise, on Data heavy platforms, in the Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or similar industries.

Head of Technology – (Hands-On) – Python, Data, GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team to deliver high-quality Python code.
• Architect and oversee delivery of data platforms and AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent.
• Drive best practices in data warehousing, workflow automation and ERP integration.
• Engage in continuous improvement of tech stack and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability with Python.
• Prior experience leading small engineering teams.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies.
• Experience with ERP systems, internal tools, data warehousing and workflow automation.
• Understanding of hardware or embedded environments (bonus).
