OverviewOB have partnered with a stealth mode start-up, who are well funded and are looking for their Founding AI Engineer to join the team, and work closely with the CTO, to shape the technical direction & strategy, and ship AI systems into production.
In this role, you will be working on AI-native products that enable natural-language interaction with enterprise data, using RAG pipelines across structured and unstructured sources, as well as building task-specific AI agents embedded into real business workflows, with a strong focus on production readiness, evaluation, and observability, and close collaboration with data and platform teams to ensure AI outputs are accurate, trusted, and scalable.
Key skills and requirements:
3+ years of commercial experience in production environments
SQL + Python
RAG & Vector DBs
Working knowledge of LLMs
APIs
Hybrid working – 3-days a week required in Central London offices
Salary – Up to £95k + equity & bonus
