Our client is a growing AI and Automation software company. In their central London office (hybrid, flexible working), they’re looking to hire a Platform / DevOps Engineer to build and scale the platform infrastructure and work with the engineering team to enable seamless CI/CD and improve deployment pipelines. In this key role you’ll design and implement new Kubernetes and container orchestration, own the AWS infrastructure with Terraform, build Python microservices and ensure API integration – Very varied!
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Own AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build Python microservices and ensure API integration.
- Enable seamless CI/CD and improve deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering to improve platform reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, etc.
- Experience with pod autoscaling (HPA / VPA) and resource optimisation.
- Systems knowledge—from container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines to API design and frontend integration.
- Excellent experience with Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, AWS services (EKS, S3, RDS, ECR, IAM) and DevOps.
- A self-starter who can work autonomously from day one.
- Strong academic background would be ideal.
- Early-stage scaling experience.
- Frontend experience - Next.js, Typescript, etc. - would be ideal.
