Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established, global FinTech / Investment firm, based in London, who are looking to take on a Mid or Senior level Cloud Security Engineer as part of plans to drive, scale, and secure their Cloud estate. The incoming engineer will work in this team to improve security standards, practices, and processes across their Cloud platforms through a series of greenfield projects, and will work closely with Developers, DevOps / Platform Engineers and Architects in the process.
To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required:
- Wealth of experience in Security and / or DevSecOps capacities (at least 4-5 years)
- Strong knowledge of Security practices, including Identity & Access Management
- Hands-on Cloud experience with GCP (AWS is also a nice to have)
- Capable across IaC and Automation from a Cloud / DevOps perspective (with Terraform and / or Ansible)
- The incoming engineer must also be comfortable coding with Python (ideally coming from a Software / Development background prior to transitioning into Security focused roles)
- Experience mentoring and coaching others from a Cloud Security perspective, is also a big bonus
These Mid-Snr openings range in salary offering £70-100K, dependant on experience and seniority, and operate an on-site working model - office based 5 days p/week.
