Oliver Bernard are currently working with a FinTech / Banking SME who are looking to take on a Mid-Level Platform Engineer as part of current expansion plans across tech, due to a surge in demand for their platform.
You will work in an extensive Team, devised of Platform and Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to help drive the development across their existing platform. Working from Design, to Architecture, Development and Implementation, as a Mid-Level Engineer you will be given large amounts of autonomy and ownership over how certain technologies are implemented and utilised within the Engineering team.
A well-cultured and tight knit environment, the company have a small team that competes heavily with their sizeable competitors.
To be considered for this opening you’ll need at least 3-4 years’ experience, encompassing the following:
- Cloud experience with AWS & AWS Services (EC2, VPC, API Gateways, Security Groups etc)
- Containerisation / Orchestration with Kubernetes (with Helm, Istio, or equivalent)
- IaC with Terraform, comfortable driving best practices
- Extensive experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (with Jenkins, GitLab or CircleCI)
- Knowledge of Monitoring and Security is also a big bonus
This position is open to Mid-Level Engineers, able to offer £65-75K (plus benefits), and operates a hybrid working model in London (3 office days p/week).
