Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a strong and experienced Platform Manager / Head of Platform to join a client of ours in the PropTech space. Existing plans are focused on growing their Platform Team as they scale across their Cloud & Infrastructure estate, whilst optimising processes, and advocating for Platform / DevOps best practices.

As the Head of Platform you will be responsible for managing a team of Platform Engineers, driving platform best practices to better enable product engineering teams, whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

To be considered, the following experience is required:

  • Prior experience in a Head of Platform / Platform Engineering Manager capacity
  • Strategic mindset, comfortable driving roadmaps and best practices, whilst working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Must come from a hands-on background, comfortable working in a hands-on capacity across GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD & Automation technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Network and Security (with prior work across Security & DevSecOps tooling)
  • Prior experience working in Python and Go driven environments
  • History of line management, career building, and shaping teams long term

This is a hybrid opening, with office visits required 2 days p/week, and can offer £100-120K (plus benefits) for the right profile.
