Application Support Lead - AdTech - £80K

Our client is one of the world’s leading AdTech firms, based in central London with a global reach.

They’re looking to hire an Application Support Lead who’ll be responsible for the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the platform stack.

This is a hands-on, leadership role that needs combining deep technical expertise with team management experience and operational ownership.

You’ll have the chance to lead a team of support / platform engineers, drive excellence, and act as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering and external partners.

You’ll have the opportunity to define strategy, improve processes, and ensure platforms can scale to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an application support role or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps tools such as AWS, Terraform and Docker
  • Knowledge of scripting or an object-oriented programming language.
  • SQL and database experience (MongoDB)
  • Java knowledge would be ideal
  • Proficiency in configuration management, automation and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of APIs and microservices is desirable.
  • Experience leading others and being the “go to”, senior, in a team
