Android Engineer – £75K (1-day per week in London) An Android Engineer is required by an established company in the live entertainment industry who are building a brand new greenfield application which will be going live this year. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and ambitious Android Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a new mobile application in the entertainment sector Your primary focus will be on building the application and ensuring seamless integration with back-end services You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a hybrid development team A strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, thoughtful design, and the delivery of a high-quality product is essential Modern Android development with Kotlin and modern Android development toolkit Experience with coroutines and reactive programming using Kotlin Flow Responsible for designing and developing applications for the Android platform Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and resolves defects Contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality, organisation, and development automation This is an excellent opportunity to work on a greenfield project from scratch and on a 0-1 product. You must be based in London or the South East and happy to commute to London 1-day per week.
