They’re focused on building forecasting systems that directly impact availability, efficiency, and cost. Data science sits at the core of decision making, with strong alignment across engineering, logistics, and commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and build of advanced demand forecasting systems, from modelling through to deployment.
- Design and deliver scalable forecasting models for global supply chains.
- Apply advanced approaches including time series foundation models and hierarchical forecasting.
- Build end-to-end pipelines and production-ready ML systems.
Requirements:
- Strong background in demand forecasting within supply chain or retail.
- Proven experience building production ML systems end-to-end.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) and stay at the forefront of AI research.
- Experience with Python, SQL, GCP, Vertex AI, Time Series models, LLM/agent workflows.
UK-based, remote with flexibility.
