Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established Tech for Good client based out of London, who are looking to take on an Agentic Quality Platform Lead to drive their Quality Engineering team towards a 'Quality as a Service' model and integrate/ embed their processes into broader Platform and AI operations.
The incoming contractor will need to have experience from a technical leadership perspective and be able to drive Quality best practices to the extent that it removes their QA Engineers from Product teams and creates a self-sufficient Quality function that is comfortable on its own two feet - without reliance on Platform or Developer teams.
To be suitable for this position, the following expertise is required:
- Experience building Agentic Quality platforms to drive efficiencies across engineering teams
- Background as an SDET, with prior experience writing clean code and developing test automation frameworks (a bonus if this has been in JavaScript / TypeScript driven environments)
- Strong history driving CI/CD quality and scaling pipelines
- Knowledge of AI and how to implement AI tools and processes to reduce manual workloads
- Prior hands-on experience across Monitoring and Observability to establish feedback loops and improve platform reliability (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus etc)
- Previous Performance Testing experience, and knowledge on how to integrate this into engineering workflows
- Technical leadership at Platform level, working cross-functionally, and encouraging best practices at a broad scale (rather than just 'team' level)
