The Role
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in keeping everything moving. You’ll sit at the heart of forecasting, planning, and procurement ensuring products are available when needed, inventory is optimised, and customers receive their orders on time. From seasonal demand peaks to major advertising campaigns, your planning will directly influence business performance. This is a role for someone who thrives on pace, takes ownership, and enjoys solving problems before they become problems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Forecasting demand fluctuations and communicating changes to suppliers within agreed lead times
- Collaborating closely with stock control and goods-in teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support smooth daily manufacturing
- Analysing product and goods wastage, identifying trends, and recommending cost-saving opportunities or pack size improvements
- Converting sales forecasts into actionable production plans in partnership with the sales team
- Supporting monthly supply reviews with production and contributing to weekly planning meetings
- Monitoring supplier performance, investigating service level issues, and leading conversations to drive improvement
- Managing non-moving and de-listed stock, making commercially sound clearance decisions
- Attending forecasting meetings with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely supply into site
- Leading the quarterly forecasting process across manufacturing and sales teams
- Planning for new product development (NPD) and seasonal demand peaks
