Location: London, United Kingdom (2-3 days a week from both our Clerkenwell & Client Canary Wharf offices)
About the role:
As Project Manager, you'll own the delivery of our most complex, high-profile creative campaigns — multi-channel projects spanning email, video, social, digital display, and print, produced within the detailed approval environment of a major regulated financial services brand. You'll create and manage master timing plans, project estimates, and status documentation, while monitoring project burn, utilisation, and resource forecasting throughout. This isn't a backroom role: you'll attend client meetings in person and virtually, working visibly alongside the client leadership team as an informed and credible project voice. You'll bring calm, clarity, and proactive problem-solving when campaigns evolve, approval chains extend, or plans need to pivot. The team expects you to know the detail — when, where, who, how — and to act as the backstop that keeps everything and everyone on track.
What you will be doing:
- Own end-to-end project management on multi-channel creative campaigns, building and maintaining master timing plans, project estimates, and status reporting.
- Monitor project burn, utilisation, and resource forecasting throughout the project lifecycle — identifying risks early, escalating proactively, and keeping delivery on track.
- Partner with the resourcing team to ensure the right creative and production resource is in place at the right time across concurrent workstreams.
- Lead regular project status check-ins with internal teams and client stakeholders, driving clarity on next steps, dependencies, and ownership.
- Attend and actively contribute to client meetings — in person at Canary Wharf and virtually — supporting the client leadership team as an integrated member of the extended team.
- Manage project-level budgets including cost estimation and reconciliation, raising purchase orders, tracking spend, and supporting profitable project delivery.
- Navigate the requirements of a regulated financial services client, including multi-stakeholder sign-off chains, detailed approval processes, and evolving briefs — re-prioritising and re-planning without losing momentum.
- Anticipate obstacles and re-solutionise when curve balls land, keeping your project team informed and aligned throughout.
- Contribute actively to the team's adoption of AI-assisted workflows, using relevant tools to improve efficiency and output quality.
- Bring consistent positive energy, curiosity, and a solutions-first mindset to a large, varied, and fast-paced team.
What you need to be great in this role:
- A proven track record of project managing complex, multi-channel creative campaigns — including email, video, paid social, and digital display; print experience is a plus.
- 3+ years experience working within a creative agency, with a strong working understanding of how creative and production teams operate.
- Confidence managing projects for large, high-profile brands — ideally in a regulated sector such as financial services, retail banking, or a similarly approval-intensive environment.
- Financial literacy across project management: experience tracking burn and utilisation, managing project-level estimates, and supporting profitable delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — able to work confidently with senior clients and internal teams, ask the right questions at the right time, and advocate clearly for what the project needs.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail: a natural instinct for tracking moving parts across complex campaigns, spotting risk before it becomes an issue, and keeping all elements progressing in parallel.
- Resilience and adaptability: you approach change, pivots, and delays as challenges to solve, not disruptions to manage around.
- Budget and project financial management: Experience managing project-level budgets, including cost estimation, purchase orders, and spend tracking.
- Ability to monitor project burn and utilisation, flag variances early, and support overall account profitability.
- Confidence contributing to resource forecasting alongside the resourcing team.
Gen AI and Agentic Thinking:
- Working proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to project management and creative production workflows — with genuine enthusiasm for exploring how AI can improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
- Experience building or contributing to AI-assisted ways of working, whether in a professional or personal context; able to speak clearly about what AI brings to creative industries and where human judgment matters most.
- Agentic approach to complex, multi-workstream projects: able to break challenges into components, identify the most efficient path forward, and adapt when priorities shift.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply sound judgment before acting on them.
Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience gained through work, self-directed learning, or other routes is equally valued.
Our values shape everything we do:
- Be Ambitious to succeed.
- Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work.
- Be always learning and listening to understand.
- Be Results-focused to exceed expectations.
- Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creations.
