About the role:
We're looking for a Global Head of Analytics to lead one of the most important practices in our business. This is a senior leadership role with genuine scope; you'll own a global team of around 80 people, spanning audience insight, creative performance analytics, social listening and measurement, search marketing and paid social, all embedded within in-house client teams across Europe, APAC, LATAM and North America. Reporting to OLIVER’s Chief Strategy Officer, you'll sit at the intersection of creativity, technology and data. You’ll help OLIVER and our clients understand not just what's performing, but why, and what to do next. You’ll spearhead new solutions in driving creative effectiveness, and proving the value of the creative component of our clients’ marketing. You’ll work closely with Brandtech colleagues in packaging and scaling Group data solutions to drive more value from marketing.
This is a role for someone who is as comfortable in a client boardroom as they are in a product sprint. Someone who can inspire a globally distributed team, spot commercial opportunity and translate complex data into stories that help businesses make better decisions.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and develop the global analytics practice
- Provide leadership to a globally distributed team of ~80 analysts and insight specialists, with six direct reports across disciplines and regions
- Build and sustain a high-performance, collaborative team culture across a diverse, multi-disciplinary group
- Define and continuously evolve OLIVER's analytics methodologies, tools and frameworks across search, paid social, social listening, audience insight and measurement — ensuring best practice is shared and applied globally
- Ensure the team has the engineering capability to integrate data sources and build automated solutions at scale
- Champion data and insight as a strategic differentiator — internally at OLIVER and externally with clients
Drive commercial growth
- Own the analytics revenue line, accountable for delivering 10% year-on-year growth
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities: expanding services within existing client relationships and contributing to new business pitches
- Work with senior client stakeholders to demonstrate and quantify the value of data-led decision-making
- Act as a senior analytics partner and thought leader for key clients — particularly on creative effectiveness, audience understanding and performance measurement
- Drive meaningful improvement in client satisfaction, targeting a five-point improvement in client NPS in year one
Build and launch new products
- Partner with data and technology leaders across the Brandtech Group to co-develop proprietary data products and analytics capabilities, with a focus on the creative effectiveness space
- Package and position Brandtech's data assets in ways that are compelling and value-driving for OLIVER's clients — particularly at the intersection of media, creativity and agentic commerce
- Lead the scaling of OLIVER's Gen AI-enabled data products, including trend and competitor reporting tools and automated social reporting
- Scale OLIVER's creative effectiveness measurement approach into a differentiating, client-facing capability
Embed Gen AI at the heart of insight
- Play a central role in ensuring Pencil, Brandtech's proprietary Gen AI platform, is optimally enabled by data and insight
- Stay at the frontier of Gen AI developments relevant to marketing analytics — bringing new ideas and applications into the business
- Work with OLIVER's wider leadership team to embed AI-powered insight into client workflows and content ecosystems
Shape group-wide data strategy
- Build strong relationships with Brandtech Group data leaders, contributing to group-wide thinking on data strategy and product development
- Lead thinking on how media, creativity and data come together — and how LLM recommendation and agentic commerce will reshape content ecosystems
What you need to be great in this role:
- Significant senior leadership experience in analytics, data strategy or a related discipline, ideally within a creative or media agency, platform, or technology business
- A track record of building and scaling high-performing, multi-disciplinary analytics teams in a global or multi-market context
- Demonstrable success growing revenue and commercialising data or insight propositions
- Experience developing and launching data products or insight tools, ideally in collaboration with technology partners
- Deep familiarity with the marketing analytics landscape: performance measurement, audience insight, social listening, search, paid social and creative effectiveness
- Exceptional strategic thinking — the ability to connect data to business outcomes in ways that resonate with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial instincts: experienced in identifying, shaping and closing revenue opportunities
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills — able to make complex data feel clear, relevant and actionable
- Ability to lead and inspire distributed, culturally diverse teams across multiple time zones
- Experienced in navigating and influencing complex, matrixed organisations
- Sets the AI strategy for the analytics discipline across OLIVER's global portfolio
- Genuine fluency in Gen AI and its applications in marketing and data — including hands-on experience building agents and agentic workflows
- Develops AI capability across teams and client offerings; embeds AI-powered insight into client workflows at scale
- Leads governance and quality standards for AI-assisted analytics across the practice
- Contributes thought leadership on AI's role in data, creativity and marketing — internally across Brandtech and externally in the industry
- Accountability for the analytics revenue line and year-on-year growth targets
- Experience building and presenting commercial propositions from data and insight capabilities
- P&L management experience across multiple markets or business lines
- Track record of presenting financial performance to executive and board-level stakeholders
- Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, independent research, or professional practice.
