About the role: OLIVER is seeking a UX/UI Designer with strong product design expertise to join a fast-growing, high-profile account for a Fortune 500 financial services client. In this role, you will combine UX and product design thinking with deep visual design skills. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, content strategists and content authors, contributing throughout the end-to-end design process—from discovery and conceptualization through execution and delivery. A strong understanding of user-centered design, brand systems, and digital product development is essential.

Reporting to the UX Manager and working in partnership with stakeholders, you’ll help deliver a wide range of work from the creation of large-scale digital experiences and products to emails and smaller digital assets across a range of platforms. This includes internal tools, customer-facing applications, content-rich sites, and emails. You’ll play a critical role in developing site architecture, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs, always advocating for the user while aligning with business objectives.

This globally dedicated team is comprised of project managers, creative and digital designers, developers, content strategists, copy editors, and video producers. The team also partners closely with teams in Mexico, the UK, Tokyo and Mumbai.

What you will be doing:

  • Contribute to the UX/UI design process across digital products, supporting work from research and ideation through wireframes, prototypes, and developer hand-off.
  • Design user-centered solutions that create intuitive and accessible experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining design systems and component libraries in Figma to support consistency across products.
  • Apply knowledge of design tools (especially Figma) and foundational understanding of design systems, including components and basic theming.
  • Participate in usability testing, helping to gather insights and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team Lead and cross-functional partners to turn concepts into practical design solutions.
  • Design flows and experiences that are clear, usable, and aligned with platform standards.
  • Work within existing visual systems and guidelines to ensure cohesive product experiences.
  • Present design work to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
  • Partner with designers, developers, content strategists, and project managers to support timely project delivery.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 3 years of experience designing digital products, ideally with exposure to consumer-facing and mobile experiences.
  • Solid understanding of core design principles including responsive design, interaction design, typography, color, and layout.
  • Experience with UX/UI design and ability to communicate design decisions and rationale clearly.
  • Familiarity with designing for mobile platforms and understanding platform-specific patterns and constraints.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects is a plus).
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Basic knowledge of usability testing methods and ability to apply findings to improve designs.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Some familiarity working with developers and understanding of tools like Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable presenting work and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Our values shape everything we do:

  • Be Ambitious to succeed.
  • Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work.
  • Be always learning and listening to understand.
  • Be Results-focused to exceed expectations.
  • Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creations.
