About the role
The Executive Producer will help drive the growth and delivery of our shoot discipline within Oliver/IIG. The role requires a deep understanding of production consultancy, creative development, shoot management, production & post production services and distribution across all media. The role involves working collaboratively with partner agencies in a decoupled environment as well as fostering good relationships with client‑side procurement and production oversight.
The Exec Producer is responsible for leading the current team of shoot producers for our origination team. This person should aim to support the team, ensure they are delivering to the right process/workflow depending on the outputs required and keep the team high‑performing and at capacity as required to deliver on our team’s KPI’s. They may also be expected to involve themselves in producing the work where required and work alongside our existing talented producers to drive a project from brief to delivery. They will oversee a team of 8 adhoc hub producers and a growing network of onsite production people.
They will ensure that these producers are costing and running their jobs to the Creative Shoot standards across all phases of production & delivery, ensuring the work is hitting our creative standards but is delivered on time and on budget, ensuring agency and client requirements are met. They will work with the client and internal teams to schedule projects and resource and will help evolve our global network of production partners to fulfill projects to the highest standards. They will have strong experience of Print, Digital, Film and TV disciplines and work hand in hand with these departments. They will collaborate with the Group Head on the vision & strategy for our production discipline globally ensuring we are cutting edge in the bespoke solutions we provide for our clients.
This will be a very client facing role, so confidence in presenting our work, our vision and our approach will be essential to success. Confidence in navigating complex client and agency landscapes and the ability to engage in nuanced conversations at procurement level is a must.
What you will be doing

- Owning the responsibility for productions across the team from Brief to Fulfillment.
- Liaise with clients as a key production consultant especially when deciding and triaging briefs for the best options on production execution.
- Defining and facilitating cross-discipline integrated shoot solutions for multiple client stakeholders.
- Effectively liaising with the Client, Creative, Account Management, and Production stakeholders to fully understand the requirements, expectations, and vision of each production, raising, in a timely manner, any potential issues relating to cost or creative.
- Solid internal and external resourcing of producers and production support to ensure efficient production execution and a balanced allocation of workload.
- Delegating work to Producers / Production support and supervising their work to ensure they have a clear understanding of what is required of them, and that they are delivering work to the expected standard within the set deadlines.
- Guiding and advising production teams on the coordination of crew, talent, location, and all logistics for a shoot as required.
- Keeping abreast of any legal developments or changes that may create compliance issues for shoots and ensure any issues are raised to Senior Management.
- Provide job & financial reporting to Senior Management on a regular basis to ensure projects are running correctly, to budget and schedule.
- Work with management to develop and implement systems and procedures that support our network of Producers and ensure excellent delivery.
- Lead, inspire and motivate a strong and coordinated production team.
- Ensure reconciliations are completed in a timely manner (typically within 28 days of job completion).
- Supply weekly progress reports to the HOP.
- Communicate with the Finance Department to ensure cash flow on jobs is managed appropriately.
- To work side by side with the HOP, insurance partners, legal advisors and Finance Director on all contractual negotiations and ensuring the company and its productions are financially sound and legally compliant.
- Provide production leadership across marquee accounts and projects.
- Provide production expertise on new business pitches as well as guiding internal teams on Production components within these pitches.
- Have a strong understanding of our clients businesses and their communication objectives.
- Work closely with teams to push production boundaries, enhance our reputation and contribute to the development of long lasting client relationships.

What you need to be great in this role
- 8+ years’ experience of managing high performing teams within a Creative, Events or Production Agency, with excellent industry knowledge of print, digital and TV production.
- The ability to manage a heavy workload under pressure by effectively prioritising, planning ahead and overseeing multiple tasks at any one time.
- Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times.
- The ability to effectively guide and delegate work to other members of the production team.
- Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Used to leveraging the experience of Print / Digital / TV Producers as part of a holistic approach to campaign execution.
- Previous Experience of Resource and Production services sourcing.
- The ability to analyse, interpret and explain statistical information.
- Anticipate both risks and opportunities, mitigating or capitalising upon them as appropriate.
- Understand industry trends and have the instinct to grasp and funnel emerging opportunities.
- Understand production workflows and client expectations.
