Role: Digital Designer
Location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom (Handforth, Cheshire 2 days per week)
About the role: Working in partnership with our client, the Designer creates impactful crafted communications, smart ideas and develops design best practices for CRM. You are comfortable as a self-managing designer, working directly with clients to answer their marketing needs with stand-out creative outputs. You thrive independently and seek to exercise your creative instinct in a fast-paced environment. You have a curious mind but a perfectionist’s twitch. You are invested in the accomplishments of all, not just the self. You must be comfortable taking design projects from brief through to completion, providing new ideas and creativity and producing designs to fit the client’s brief and exacting standards.
What you will be doing
- Develop creative and graphic concepts (for digital and print) in collaboration with assigned teams to meet the aims of the brief
- Have great design sense and a confident approach to language idea generation
- Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- The ability to interpret marketing ideas and turn them into high quality visuals
- Regular creation of speculative ideas
- Starting to challenge briefs and creative direction (where appropriate)
- Can self-edit and refine their own thinking before internal reviews
- Can support projects throughout all stages, from initial concept development, up to production
- Interact regularly with creative leadership, creative partners and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects
- Receive feedback from management and use that feedback to grow skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Help with any design emergencies across our network that need to be done right first time

What you need to be great in this role
- CRM experience
- Excellent portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality design within a CRM marketing campaign and platform projects.
- Strong layout and design skills across print and digital.
- Actively support the Art Director with new business activity, networking and pitching where required.
- Experienced in liaising directly with the client and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Experience with strategic brainstorming, creative brief development and creative execution.
- Experience meeting clients and presenting your work.
- Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members.
- A developed and working awareness of all major content platforms and channels and a view on new platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Experience in CRM sectors.
