This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's in-house studio embedded with a leading B2B learning and development partner, as a Campaign, CRM & Hub Spot Automation Lead — a three‑month fixed‑term contract with scope to grow.

Our client uses behavioural science to reshape how enterprises learn, lead, and change.

Based in [Location], you'll own the design and delivery of Hub Spot lifecycle automation, improving retention, reactivation, and cross‑sell performance across key accounts.

Your ability to translate complex CRM and engagement data into clear, practical insight will be central to how the team operates — and how the client grows.

We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.

About the role

As Campaign, CRM & Hub Spot Automation Lead, you'll sit at the intersection of data, automation, and campaign delivery.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused contract: you'll design and activate end‑to‑end Hub Spot lifecycle journeys, define segmentation and lead scoring logic, and build the reporting infrastructure to measure performance at every stage of the funnel.

Working closely with the Business Director, Data Strategy Director, and Performance Marketing Manager, you'll own daily campaign operations, tracking, and optimisation.

The team is cross‑functional and collaborative — you'll partner regularly with media planners, the analytics team, and the creative studio.

The primary scope of this FTC is lifecycle automation and CRM.

Should the role convert to a permanent position, responsibilities expand to include full paid media campaign management across Linked In, Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic channels.

  • Lifecycle Automation & CRM
  • Design end‑to‑end Hub Spot lifecycle journeys to improve retention, reactivation, and cross‑sell performance across enterprise accounts.
  • Build and launch Hub Spot automation workflows, ensuring accurate integration with Salesforce.
  • Define segmentation, lead scoring, and audience logic to sharpen targeting precision and MQL quality.
  • Troubleshoot front‑end marketing automation issues across landing pages, forms, and email journeys.
  • Manage lead routing processes and ensure accurate, timely handover to sales teams.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Set up lifecycle tracking, performance dashboards, and reporting frameworks to surface clear, actionable insight.
  • Own full‑funnel reporting: pull and interpret data from GA4, Hub Spot, and Salesforce to produce performance reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Translate complex engagement and campaign data into practical recommendations that inform strategy.
  • Validate tracking tags and pixels before new campaigns or platforms go live; coordinate fixes with analytics and development teams as required.
  • Maintain a structured testing and optimisation backlog; run experiments and apply learnings continuously.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lifecycle journey performance, MQL quality, and conversion rates.
  • Campaign Operations (Supporting Scope)
  • Support paid media execution across Linked In, Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic platforms as required.
  • Assist with campaign pacing, spend reconciliation, and creative spec delivery alongside the Performance Marketing Manager.
  • Implement landing page updates and copy optimisations aligned with SEO best practice.
  • Schedule and build email campaigns; QA outbound comms including webinar sequences.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day owner for campaign operations and reporting, working closely with media, analytics, and the creative studio.
  • Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and client stakeholders across all active workstreams.

What you need to be great in this role

  • Proven hands‑on experience with Hub Spot — building automation workflows, managing integrations, and troubleshooting front‑end issues (backend development not required).
  • Strong GA4 proficiency: confident pulling, interpreting, and acting on analytics data to drive campaign and site improvements.
  • Experience with Salesforce alongside Hub Spot, including workflow management and integration troubleshooting.
  • Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills, including building and maintaining reporting templates and pivot‑based analysis.
  • Experience in a B2B digital marketing environment, agency‑side or client‑side.
  • Meticulous attention to detail — campaign setup, tracking, and lead routing require rigorous QA at every stage.
  • Clear, confident communication: able to translate data and insights into recommended actions for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities autonomously, with a pragmatic, outcomes‑focused approach.
  • Hands‑on paid media experience: Google Ads, Linked In, Meta, and/or programmatic platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and copy‑level SEO best practices.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools.
  • Gen AI & Agentic Thinking
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to digital marketing — using AI to support campaign analysis, content testing, or automation design.
  • Experience developing personal AI‑assisted workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.
  • Agentic approach to problem‑solving: able to break down complex, multi‑step challenges systematically and identify clear paths forward.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI‑generated outputs and apply sound human judgement before acting on them.
