About the role:
We\’re seeking a talented Copywriter to join our creative agency team, working primarily on the on a disruptive FinTech account. This role combines creative copywriting excellence with the ability to leverage AI technology to deliver exceptional B2B finance content for an exciting, unconventional, and rapidly growing financial company.
As Copywriter, you will be a conceptual thinker who can take creative projects from brief to completion, working as part of our dedicated agency team. You\’re a leader who can own your projects and execute them efficiently and effectively to deliver copywriting quality, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring that all content follows channel-specific best practices and requirements.
This role requires a flexible thinker who can adapt to various types of copy needs – from crafting long-form content that explains complex financial products, to developing snappy headlines that capture attention, to writing engaging film scripts. You\’ll work closely with the Integrated Designer to provide new ideas and creativity whilst working within brand guidelines and will manage the day-to-day running of projects, working within specified timeframes and budgets.
Reporting to the Senior Account Director , the Copywriter sits in a global team of 11.
The team will be required to work in the client’s office twice a week , our head office once a week, or as required .
What you will be doing:
- Create compelling, conversion-focused copy for innovative B2B finance solutions, with the ability to utilize AI copywriting tools as needed
- Craft narratives that simplify complex financial products and services for business audiences
- Develop and maintain the client\’s brand voice across multiple channels including web, email, social media, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and client stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns
- Deliver briefs from brainstorm/concept to completion, working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and execution
- Produce engaging and innovative work for our client\’s digital, social, video, and email channels
- Write creative and innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
- Adapt your writing style across various formats – from detailed explanatory content to concise, impactful headlines
- Optimize copy performance based on data insights and feedback
- Stay up-to-date with emerging social, content, and cultural trends
- You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
- Strong conceptual thinking ability – able to generate creative ideas and solutions
- Strong experience writing for digital and social engagement, with 5+ years of experience
- Flexibility to turn your hand to many types of copy, from long-form content explaining financial products, to snappy headlines, to film scripts
- The ability to think conceptually. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) or in collaboration with other creative team members
- Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
- Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients
- Excellent written English, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn more
- Highly creative and imaginative, and able to translate client\’s marketing and sales objectives into creative ideas and copy
- Researchers who can be up to date with trends in digital and social media and communication
- Progressive portfolio of past work
