Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to work closely with two of our clients, within the banking and professional services sectors.
The role involves delivering powerful, impactful digital experiences across client websites, including AI tools and site discoverability, and overseeing project coordination and client service from scoping to final release.
Responsibilities
- Work in true collaboration with clients and partner agencies, ensuring quality delivery of technical projects.
- Take overall financial control of accounts, including profitability, forecasting accuracy, late payment management, fee negotiation, and provide regular reports to clients.
- Own execution of projects, run rates, and client satisfaction through catch-ups with Technical Delivery Manager and weekly account/project management WIP.
- Collaborate with department heads/leads on approach, scoping, and estimating for projects.
- Create and own overarching project plans and timelines.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, drive agendas, and ensure agreed timings and objectives are met.
- Identify risks and implement solution‑oriented approaches.
- Work with the Resource Manager to allocate resources proactively for upcoming projects.
- Accountable for delivery of growth targets for the account.
- Act as escalation point when client or internal SLAs/processes are not adhered to, identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
- Negotiate win‑win compromises with clients on behalf of the team.
- Identify new business opportunities through relationships and introduce The Brand Tech capabilities where appropriate.
- Work across website products and digital services within a team of 7‑10, with no direct reports.
- Hold financial responsibility for accounts up to £1‑2million.
Qualifications
- 5+years of relevant experience in digital, web design, UX‑UI.
- Experience with website products such as Umbraco.
- Experience in a regulated sector.
- Strong client engagement skills, ability to build strong relationships.
- Well‑developed financial and commercial acumen, strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
- Comfortable with agile processes.
- Clear understanding of Brand Tech Group products and ability to leverage them for clients.
- Ability to integrate with client‑side teams while maintaining top‑tier agency service.
- Highly creative, capable of generating ideas and contributing to studio output.
- Experience or strong interest in AI is preferable; an interest/passion for AI is required.
- Personal qualities: imaginative, inspirational, always learning, results‑focused, inclusive and anti‑racist.
