Job scope: We are looking to recruit a Registered General Nurse (RGN), ideally with experience working with dementia and elderly patients, specifically during night shifts. The ideal Registered General Nurse candidate will also be experienced in leading night shifts and managing care assistants, ensuring readiness for day shifts. As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.

  • Registration with the NMC
  • Experience in caring for dementia and elderly patients
  • Experience in the development and implementation of person-centred care planning
  • Experience working with an electronic care planning system, preferably PCS
  • Ability to take responsibility to lead the shift
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, professional working relationships
  • Computer literate
