We are recruiting a Registered Manager to take ownership of the operational leadership of a regulated care service. This role carries overall accountability for care quality, compliance, and the effective management of teams, ensuring individuals receive safe, consistent, and person-focused support.
About the Role
The Registered Manager will hold responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, working in partnership with senior stakeholders to ensure regulatory standards are upheld, operational performance remains strong, and a positive culture is embedded across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for operational delivery, including care provision, staffing, transitions, and administrative oversight.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies.
- Lead and develop teams through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain oversight of care documentation, risk management, reviews, and collaborative working with external professionals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for commissioners, local authorities, families, and partner organisations.
- Oversee financial controls, ensuring resources are managed responsibly and in line with agreed budgets.
- Implement quality monitoring systems, audits, and improvement plans to drive service excellence.
- Stay informed of legislative changes and sector developments, applying best practice across the service.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and leadership growth.
About You
- Previous experience in a Registered Manager position within a regulated care environment.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience managing services supporting adults and/or young people with complex needs or behaviours that may challenge.
- Ability to communicate confidently with external stakeholders and represent the service professionally.
- Proven capability in leading, motivating, and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, care planning, and risk management processes.
- Highly organised, resilient, and outcomes focused.
- Full UK driving licence required.
