We are looking to recruit a female Care Manager who can lead a team dedicated to enabling individuals with Learning Disability and Autism, to live fulfilling, everyday lives filled with opportunities and joy, while helping them achieve their goals and aspirations. This role requires proven experience and a passion for empowering individuals through positive behaviour support and collaborative wellbeing initiatives.

The ideal Care Manager will demonstrate kindness, resilience, and effective leadership, despite challenges faced by those transitioning from hospital to community living. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring individuals receive community-based support and regain independence through innovative approaches.

Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to lead staff in empowering individuals to regain independence through active support, positive risk-taking, and innovative approaches are essential qualities for the role of Care Manager.

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership (Management of Adult Services/Adult Residential Services pathway) or equivalent
  • Experience working within and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Policy and legislative requirements, including infection control.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and complex care packages involving 1:1 or 1:2 support.
  • Previous involvement in CQC inspections, conducting investigations, handling safeguarding level 42s, leading projects, overseeing recruitment, chairing meetings, and upholding the highest standards of quality for individuals we support.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in supporting individuals with complex care needs, including mental health conditions, personality disorders, Autism, and learning disabilities.
