We are looking to recruit a Head of Operations to lead and manage supported living services, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining high service standards. The Head of Operations will oversee multiple regions, driving efficiency, financial sustainability, and quality care for young people. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of Operations will lead Operations Managers, ensuring high occupancy, effective budget management, and strong staff performance.

Developing professional relationships with external agencies and local authorities is essential, as is ensuring all homes meet safeguarding and health and safety requirements. The Head of Operations will be responsible for strategic planning, service development, and overseeing new home openings while implementing quality assurance processes to enhance operational performance. Ensuring the effective use of systems such as ClearCare, Breathe HR, and Planday is key.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with the ability to manage people, financial resources, and regulatory compliance to deliver exceptional outcomes. Do you have?

  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams, particularly in social care or supported living services.
  • Experience in working within Ofsted-regulated services and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks.
  • Strong background in managing budgets, financial oversight, and ensuring cost efficiency in service delivery.
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding policies, risk management, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Experience in recruitment, staff supervision, performance management, and fostering a positive working culture.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in using systems such as ClearCare, Breathe HR, and Planday is essential.
  • Valid driving license.
