Salary: £60,000 per year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Three long workdays per week, each from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (a total of 15 hours per day)

Job Scope: We are seeking a Children Registered Manager to lead and manage a brand-new 4-bed home in a London area. As the Children Registered Manager, you will play a key role in setting up and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ofsted-registered home, providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations
  • Managing budgets
  • Leading a dedicated team of Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers
  • Monitoring KPIs
  • Implementing quality assurance practices
  • Ensuring systems like ClearCare are used effectively
  • Liaising with external agencies to safeguard the young people in your care
  • Building professional relationships
  • Sharing an on-call rota with other Children Registered Managers in the region

This is a unique opportunity to grow within an expanding service, with plans to open more homes in the future.

Do you have?

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children & Young People's Services (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years at a supervisory level within an Ofsted-registered children's home
  • Proven ability to meet Ofsted's fit requirements for the role
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, with practical application experience
  • A valid driving license
