We are looking to recruit a Children's Registered Manager responsible for the effective and efficient management of an Ofsted registered residential home providing quality care for vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. The Children's Registered Manager will manage staff recruitment, deployment, and care practice to meet the young people's needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
The Children's Registered Manager will support the senior management team, maintain administrative systems, and ensure the service performs within budget while aiming for the highest Ofsted inspection rating. They will collaborate with the Regional Director for strategic planning and business development, ensuring the service provides a child-centred environment with detailed care planning and regular reviews. They will foster effective communication and partnerships with referring authorities, maintaining high standards of residential care.
Ensuring staff understand their roles, the Children's Registered Manager will lead the team to deliver quality care and support staff development.
Do you have?
- Recognised Social Work qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with children at least at Level 4.
- A qualification in management to at least Level 4 in Leadership and Management (LMCS), desirable.
- At least 2 years' experience relevant to residential care within the last 5 years and at least 1 year's experience supervising and managing professional staff.
- Experience working with challenging young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a social care or associated setting.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work with no hybrid options.
- Willingness to relocate with a provided relocation package if interested.
