We are recruiting for a Commissioning Home Manager on behalf of a well-respected, not-for-profit care provider known for delivering high-quality nursing and dementia care across the Southeast. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Home Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new, purpose-built, 70-bed nursing home in Kent.
As Commissioning Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing the final stages of development, ensuring the home is ready to welcome its first residents. You will lead the recruitment and onboarding of a dedicated care team, establishing a strong, person-centred culture from day one. The successful Commissioning Home Manager will be a nurse-qualified professional with an active NMC pin, experienced in managing or opening care homes. You will ensure the service runs smoothly, maintains regulatory compliance, and achieves financial and occupancy targets.
