As an Activities Organiser, you'll play a pivotal role in providing stimulating recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs. Aligned with our client's philosophy of care, activities are client-centered, age-appropriate, and uphold dignity. In a caring and supportive environment, you will empower residents to lead independent lives by facilitating engaging activities. Collaborating with residents, families, and colleagues, you'll design and execute a diverse program, including outings, to address social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs. The role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a vibrant community focused on compassionate care and support.
Do you have?
- Possessing or being willing to complete a relevant Health & Social Care qualification.
- Professional background in recreational and social activities, including working with both individuals and groups of people.
- Working experience with elderly individuals, who may also have dementia and have a range of needs and abilities.
- Previous experience collaborating with volunteers, relatives, families, and other community members.
- Understanding of the challenges related to the physical and mental health of older individuals.
