Business Analyst – Fixed Term Contract (Mat Cover)
Understanding, analyzing, and validating clients\’ pain points. Can you exercise these Business Analyst fundamentals whilst helping clients navigate complex project landscapes?
Would you relish the challenge of understanding the complexities of each stage of a project lifecycle, helping clients achieve their Digital Transformation goals, and establishing internal best practices?
You\’ll join a project team and draw upon your consultancy or GDS (Government Digital Service) experience to navigate our clients through each phase of the project lifecycle from Discovery to Live. Being a champion of the Agile methodology and thriving on the flexibility of consultancy work will be qualities that empower you to be a success for not just Olive Jar Digital but our clients too.
What you\’ll be doing
- You\’ll be working in multidisciplinary teams utilizing Agile methodologies on Public Sector projects abiding by the Government Digital Standards (GDS).
- You\’ll be working closely with key stakeholders at our Public Sector clients and enabling them to strategically shape and analyze their complex Digital Transformation projects.
- You\’ll be leading business research initiatives, mapping end-to-end business processes, conducting data modeling, and identifying known frictions and pain points.
- You\’ll be responsible for shaping the culture of practice around your domain internally at Olive Jar Digital.
About you/Experience
- You can strategically shape and lead analysis as part of multi-disciplinary teams operating within programme, portfolio, or scaled agile methodologies.
- You have demonstrable experience of successfully contributing to the delivery of Digital products and projects in the Public Sector using GDS.
- You can select the appropriate business modeling techniques that are most effective to help people understand situations, problems, and solutions.
- You are comfortable designing and influencing improvements to business structures, processes, and information flows supported appropriately with automation and technology.
- You are a confident and clear communicator, comfortable working with strategic stakeholders to establish and deliver goals efficiently.
