SC Cleared Senior Full Stack Developer

The Role
We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Senior Full Stack Developer to join a public sector project on an initial 3-month FTC.
You will be working within an established delivery team, designing and developing secure, scalable applications and services.
The role requires strong hands-on experience across Python, Java and AWS, with the ability to work across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications and services.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python and Java.
- Build and deploy solutions within AWS cloud environments.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
- Produce clean, secure and well-tested code.
- Support CI/CD, automated testing and deployment processes.
- Work closely with Dev Ops, Cloud, Architecture and Delivery teams.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across applications and integrations.
- Ensure solutions meet security and public sector engineering standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Current and active SC Clearance.
- Strong commercial experience as a Senior/Full Stack Developer.
- Strong Python and Java development experience.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience.
- REST APIs and microservices.
- Java Script/Type Script with React, Angular or similar.
- SQL and/or No SQL databases.
- Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
- Docker/containerisation experience.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Desirable
- Previous UK Government/Public Sector experience.
- GDS experience.
- Terraform/Cloud Formation.
- Kubernetes.
- Serverless or event-driven AWS architecture.
- Experience working within secure or regulated environments.
