Olive Branch Fostering are looking for a Children’s and Young People Engagement Officer to join the team in our Rawtenstall office.

The Role

As a Children’s and Young Peoples Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for building positive working relationships with our Children and Young People (CYP). You will be responsible for delivering training on various topics such as online safety, personal hygiene, and first aid, as well as organizing creative competitions and interactive activities to engage our children and young people. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to those leaving care around living semi-independently, while implementing challenges for our young people to complete around budgeting, cooking, and using local services.

You will undertake weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly visits, monitoring CYP outcomes. You will support our children and young people in actively participating in the completion of looked after children review reports and be responsible for completing child-specific risk assessments.

To be considered for this role, you must have a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle, as this role will involve regular travel.
