We're looking for a General Manager for the charming CityGate, close to Exeter's historic city centre. The City Gate has a suntrap of a courtyard, 20 boutique bedrooms and a private cellar bar full of character and charm that can be hired for private events, parties and weddings. This business has gone from strength to strength under our previous GM, who is moving on to new opportunities, and is perfectly positioned for the right person to come in and continue to drive the pub forward.
We're looking for a people-focused GM that has experience running a pub and is used to working with fresh food to continue to develop this traditional yet quirky community site which is a firm favourite for locals and visitors alike. A great opportunity for someone that runs a great pub to challenge themselves in running a pub with rooms, and is willing to embed themselves within the Exeter community.
