Senior Structural Design Engineer

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time contract position. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities * Perform structural Engineering assessments for new and existing steel structures (industrial). * Produce Design documents, including drawings, reports and surveys. * Act as the Technical Lead on projects as and when required. * Undertake analysis and design using appropriate calculations and software packages such as AutoCAD, Solidworks * Liaise with clients and employees to ensure progress against the design deliverables. * Effectively manage your own time to complete all work(s) ongoing. Functional Competencies * To demonstrate responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others around you * To demonstrate the reporting of any issues, incidents, near misses and good practices through safety management * Clean and full UK Driving Licence Experience * A degree in Structural Engineering * Previous work (min 5 years) or work in a relatable field
